The Alpha does 25 km/h on a 250 W motor. The 576 Wh LG battery takes you up to 45 km and is back at 80% in 2 to 3 hours. Unlocking is done with an NFC card: hold it against the scooter and you are off. Park it and the lock in the motor engages, with an alarm that goes off on movement.

Frequently asked questions
Is the SELANA Alpha legal in the Netherlands?
Yes. The Alpha has a national type approval from the RDW. With a licence plate and third-party insurance you may ride it on the cycle path, under the rules for special mopeds.
Do I need a driving licence?
No. You do not need a driving licence. The minimum age is 16.
Is a helmet mandatory?
No, a helmet is not mandatory. It is recommended.
Where may I ride the Alpha?
On the cycle path and the shared cycle/moped path. Where there is no cycle path, you ride on the road. The pavement is not allowed.
How fast does the Alpha go and how far does it get you?
The Alpha is limited to 25 km/h and gets up to 45 km on one charge. Charging from 0 to 80% takes 2 to 3 hours.

Yes. Book an appointment at our showroom. The Alpha will be ready for you and you can try it.
