How Motodam B.V. protects your personal data

2. Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data: - Name - Email address - Phone number - Address details (for purchases) - For an inquiry made after clicking a Google Ads ad: that the inquiry came through Google Ads (see ‘Cookies’) We receive the data you provide yourself, for example via a form or a purchase. In addition, the website processes technical usage data, as described under ‘Cookies’.
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your data for the following purposes: - Handling inquiries and contact requests - Executing purchase agreements - Scheduling test rides - Sending newsletters (only with your consent) - Improving our website and services
4. Legal Basis
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 6(1): (a) Consent, for sending newsletters and for analytics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time via the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. (b) Performance of a contract, for purchases and test rides (f) Legitimate interest, for improving our services and for measuring which of our ads lead to contact or an inquiry
5. Data Retention
We do not retain your data longer than necessary: - Fiscal records: 7 years (legal obligation) - Inquiries and contact requests: 1 year - Measurements of visits through Google Ads ads: 13 months - Account data: until you delete your account After the retention period, your data is securely deleted.
6. Your Rights

7. Cookies
Motodam uses functional cookies that are needed for the website to work. These are always on. In addition, Motodam places analytics and marketing cookies, but only after you have given consent in the cookie notice. Google Analytics measures the use of the website. Processor: Google Ireland Limited. You can read more about the data processing in Google's information. Meta Pixel, processor Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Purpose: measuring which ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to an inquiry, and showing ads again to visitors who have been on the website before (retargeting). Cookie: _fbp. Here too, data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We measure Google Ads ads ourselves, without cookies. When you arrive through such an ad, Google adds a click ID and a few details of the ad to the link. On arrival the website checks whether that click ID is present and, if so, gives the open page a random visit number. That number, and the fact that you came through an ad, exist only in the memory of that page, not in a cookie or any other storage in your browser. When you reload or close the page, they are gone. During that visit we record the visit number, the day, the pages visited and, where relevant, the vehicle; on arrival, the campaign, the ad group, the ad network, the type of ad and the type of device (mobile, tablet or computer) as Google passes them in the link; clicks on call, email or WhatsApp; and how long the visit lasted. The visit number keeps the events of one visit together. We do not store a click ID, an IP address, a location or any other device or browser data. We do not link these measurements to your inquiry or contact details: with an inquiry we record only that it came through Google Ads. We do not build profiles with them, we do not share them with anyone, including Google, and we only look at them as totals. The purpose is to assess which of our ads, campaigns and pages lead to visits or contact, and how many inquiries arrive through Google Ads in total, so that we spend our advertising budget well. We do not use these measurements to treat you or your inquiry differently. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)). We do not ask for consent for this, because we regard it as a measurement of the effectiveness of our own ads with little or no impact on your privacy, as referred to in Article 11.7a(3)(b) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet). We delete these measurements after 13 months. You can object via info@motodam.nl, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser: the website then does not measure your visit. The legal basis for analytics and marketing cookies is your consent (GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw that consent at any time via the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. The cookie notice then appears again and you make a new choice. Withdrawal applies from that moment on and does not affect processing that already took place. If you decline, no analytics or marketing cookies are placed and the Meta Pixel does not start. Even if you decline analytics cookies, the website sends limited measurements without analytics cookies to Google Analytics via Consent Mode. Google may use these for measurement and modelling. If you arrived through a Google Ads ad, the website still measures that visit as described above, and records Google Ads as the source of an inquiry.
