SELANA Alpha in Space Black, studio shot
1/6

Built for the daily ride through the city

The SELANA Alpha is an e-scooter with a national type approval from the RDW, the Dutch vehicle authority. That means a licence plate, third-party insurance and the cycle path: from age 16, without a driving licence and without a helmet requirement. No grey area, just legally on the road.

The 250 W motor keeps the Alpha at 25 km/h, the 576 Wh LG battery takes you up to 45 km and is back at 80% in 2 to 3 hours. You ride on 10-inch pneumatic tyres with drum brakes front and rear; lights, indicators and a brake light are standard. The lock sits in the motor: you unlock with an NFC card, and the alarm responds to movement.

See and try it in the showroom in de Kwakel, 25 minutes from Amsterdam, by appointment.
